About the Mendocino Ridge AVA

The Mendocino Ridge AVA is one of more than 270 federally designated American Viticultural Areas in the United States. It was approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) in 1997 and its boundary is recorded in 27 CFR Part 9 — the same regulation every other US AVA is defined under.
